Wuhan University of Science and Technology was founded in 1958, after WISCO Medical College (1960), Wuhan Metallurgical Medical College (1965), Wuhan University of Metallurgy Medical School (1995) and Wuhan University of Science and Technology Medical School (renamed in 1999) ).At present, the medical school is one of the main colleges of Wuhan University of Science and Technology. Our college currently has 5 undergraduate majors in clinical medicine, preventive medicine, nursing, pharmacy and health inspection and quarantine. It has 3 master's degree programs in clinical medicine, nursing and pharmacy, and internal medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, 9 master's degree programs in pediatrics, general medicine, clinical nursing, nursing management, clinical pharmacy, drug research and development, and 3 master's degree programs in public health and preventive medicine, basic medicine and biology. The School of Medicine has five departments: Basic Medical College, School of Public Health, Department of Pharmacy, Department of Nursing, and Department of Clinical Medicine.
